MAIDEN is a 2-ply twist fingering-weight blend of superwash merino and nylon.

This merino is superwash which keeps the fibers from felting and takes dye easily creating saturated, vibrant colors. We enjoy creating new colors on this base first! The addition of nylon gives the superwash merino more elasticity and durability, making it a great option for socks. It also a favorite for shawls and colorwork sweaters.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. To lengthen the life of your projects, we recommend washing by hand.

FAE is our delicate, lace-weight blend of kid mohair and silk.

Mohair is a durable fiber and is notable for its brilliant luster and shine and is often added to other fibers to give them these same qualities. It is naturally elastic, has excellent insulating and moisture-wicking properties which make it a lovely multi-season fiber. It can add luxury to any project.

Silk is strong, inelastic and naturally shiny. It is warmer than wool and naturally absorbent. Learn more about Fae here.

The combination of mohair and silk creates a shiny, airy, strong fiber. The dye takes to both very well and we are always fascinated by the way it takes to our colors. The silk core sometimes glows amid the wispy mohair. Fae can be used alone or paired with any other fiber to create something luxurious.

All hand dyed yarn is unique and no two skeins will be exactly alike. Please purchase enough yarn to complete your project. Alternating skeins is the best way to prevent possible pooling, flashing or a sudden shift of color. It's easy! Just work 1-2 row stripes from two balls of yarn (carrying the yarn up the side).

We try hard to capture the essence of each colorway, but please keep in mind that colors may vary from monitor to monitor.
