The most popular introductory yarn for new crafters, medium or worsted weight yarn is the workhorse of the knitting & crochet world. This weight yarn is ideal for learning your yarn based craft, garments, accessories, home décor, & just about everything else in between. Aran weight is more popular in the UK and most of the EU, where Worsted weight is the more common term in the US.
