Cowgirl KAL Hosted by Spincycle!!

Howdy, folks! The Spinsters are at it again. This time, we're saddling up for a two-month Knit-A-Long, featuring any and all of the gorgeous COWLS designed in Spincycle Yarns.

The Cowlgirl KAL begins April 1 and runs through May 31. To enter, simply cast-on & complete any cowl designed with Spincycle Yarns and submit your FO to the Google Doc (link below). If you don't have a Google account, submissions may be emailed to socialmedia@spincycleyarns.com.

Open for anyone to join but if you purchase your yarn at The Modern Skein and finish by the end of the KAL, you will be entered into a drawing for a $75 Gift Card!

 

Recommended yarns:

Tynn Silk Mohair with Sunday, Cottage Sock, or other Fingering weight yarns. 

A single strand of Fluff by Walcot/Les Garçons knits up at a 21 stitch gauge as well...

 

Or for a fluff free option, Use a single strand of DK or Heavy sport, whichever lets you get the pattern gauge of 21 stitches for 4 inches in a fabric you love!

 

Celebrate all the plant-based fibers with us this summer. You can knit or crochet any project using any of the plant-based yarns that we sell. Send us a photo with the details via email or text, or bring your finished item into the shop by August 31 to be entered into a drawing for several prize bundles. (Yarn must have been purchased from us to be eligible for prizes.)

Project ideas are endless and we will be sharing lots of ideas for yarns such as Undine, Dapple, Duo, Line, Mojave, etc.
