Happy Go Knitty - Matariki

Hand-dyed, 85% organic merino/15% possum.
8ply, 100g skeins/approx 200m and 200g skeins/approx 400m.
DK Weight yarn - Needles 4–6 mm.

Australian organic merino mixed with a nice amount of visible possum which gives a heathered look. It is very light and warm and it has an excellent bounce. The possum fibre will come to the surface as it's knitted and blocked, giving it a glorious halo. Works well for stranded and fair isle knitting. Suitable for garments, hats, scarves and big, cosy shawls. This yarn is not superwash treated.
